Dr. Adam Wright is a licensed psychotherapist, Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), and Professional Certified Coach (PCC), with advanced training in exercise physiology and strength and conditioning. He holds a Ph.D. in Psychology of Human Movement from Temple University, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Master’s from the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis, with specialized training in the unconscious drivers of behavior, identity, and performance.
With over two decades of experience, Adam helps high performers strengthen the mental, emotional, and physical dimensions of elite performance—working with individuals and teams across the U.S. and internationally.
He currently serves as Director of Mental Performance for the Washington Nationals and is the co-founder of The Antifragile Academy—an organization dedicated to advancing human flourishing through performance coaching and research-based training.
Adam works with clients across professional sports, medicine, tactical professions, the performing arts, and executive leadership. His approach is structured and values-driven, combining performance science with psychological depth. He helps clients perform under pressure—and uncover the deeper patterns that shape how they think, lead, and sustain long-term success.
This work goes beyond symptom relief or short-term gains. It’s designed to target the deeper layers—identity, meaning, and unconscious dynamics—that drive clarity, adaptability, and lasting impact.
