THERAPY

A CLINICAL APPROACH TO HUMAN STRUGGLE AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH

You don’t have to be in crisis to start therapy.

But if you’re here, something likely isn’t working. You may be functioning well outwardly, but internally—you're anxious, disconnected, overwhelmed, or simply stuck. Or perhaps your child is showing signs of distress under the weight of performance, identity pressure, or emotional reactivity.

Therapy provides a structured space to make sense of what you’re carrying, understand how it developed, and begin the work of real, sustainable change.

This isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about working honestly with what’s human.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with individual adults and adolescents (13+) navigating emotional, relational, and performance-related challenges.

Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals, athletes, parents, or students—people used to performing under pressure. They often reach out at a point where insight alone isn’t enough.

I see clients struggling with:

  • Persistent anxiety or internal tension

  • Depression, burnout, or emotional fatigue

  • Loss, trauma, or unresolved pain

  • Difficulty with emotional regulation or relationships

  • Performance disruption, identity shifts, or lack of direction

  • Perfectionism, shame, or a harsh inner voice

Some arrive after a specific event. Others carry something that’s been building for years. You don’t have to have the language for it yet—that’s part of the work.

HOW I WORK

My approach to therapy is integrative, relational, and grounded in clinical depth.

I draw from:

  • Psychoanalytic and psychodynamic theory – to explore patterns, history, and unconscious drivers

  • Cognitive-behavioral and ACT-based tools – to support clarity, structure, and meaningful action

  • Trauma-informed and attachment-based frameworks – to address regulation, safety, and connection

  • Performance and neuroscience-informed insight – particularly relevant for athletes and high-functioning clients under pressure

Therapy is collaborative. Some sessions are exploratory. Others are structured. Every session is rooted in curiosity, respect, and psychological depth.

With adolescents, I focus on developmentally informed therapy that addresses performance pressure, emotional reactivity, and identity formation—while engaging parents when appropriate.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Therapy begins with an initial consultation to discuss what brings you in and assess whether we’re a good fit.

If we decide to work together, we’ll typically meet weekly, building insight and structure over time.

You can expect:

  • A confidential, supportive, and focused space

  • A therapist with both clinical and performance expertise

  • A process tailored to your goals, pace, and depth

  • A serious commitment to long-term growth—not quick fixes
